We were formed in 2002 by a diverse group of friends from industry, government, academia, and law enforcement who shared concerns about the integrity and the safety of the food and drug supply chains, and who pooled their talents to develop better tools for protecting these products.
Our business units are
Design and production of our patented, biodegradable, machine-readable, microscopic Fingerprint® markers;
Design and production of custom-designed, kilometer-length microstructured polymeric fibers (a spin-off from our marker technology); and
Biomedical and Agricultural Product Development, Regulatory, and Business Consulting (what we were doing on our own before we formed Burntside).
